Up for sale is a 1992 Dodge Stealth. This is the SOHC model. 5-speed manual transmission. On the car there are about 172,500 miles (pics show exact mileage). The 120K maintenance was completed at around 135K miles so you still have some time before the 180K maintenance. The car has some problems. There are some cosmetic deficiencies. The front driver-side wheel area has a good size dent in it (shown in pics) from a deer that ran into me while driving down the road (go figure). There is also a nice sized key mark along the passenger side body panel. As far as the inside of the car, there is a tear in the rear seat. The windows are manual, not power. A few years ago I changed out the door speakers and could not put the handles back on (I still have them though) so I’ve been using a vice-grip wrench to roll them up and down, so the threaded piece of material that it normally is located on is stripped and will probably need to be replaced if you want the windows back to the way they were. They roll down fine with the wrench though. The air conditioning system stopped blowing cold air and there was a strange noise coming from the pulley that runs the compressor I think. So Im not sure what exactly is wrong with it, so I removed the pulley so it would stop making the noise. The cruise control unit is not wired up so it is currently also not working. As far as the engine and transmission are concerned they are working ok. The transmission was rebuilt about a year and a half ago to repair some bad synchros. It works great now. The engine is also strong. It does burn some oil, but other than that it is fine. I probably have to add a quart of oil sometime between oil changes to keep it at nominal levels. The Speedometer does not work for some reason, but the tachometer works just fine. This is why I am including an extra speedo/tach cluster with the car, I just haven’t installed it yet. ECU went out and was rebuilt about a month ago. Car runs great now. If you have any more specific questions just email me and I will answer them. I tried to be totally honest in my listing here about every aspect of the car that I can think of with issues. If you want any specific photos of certain parts or just high rez photos, shoot me an email. All my contact info is on the page with the photos (listed at the bottom)
