last summer….on the way to the National Gathering….my alternator died on the drive up. Me and Phil (redvr4) changed it with some alternator we found at a small shop in the middle of no where.
I replaced it with a 70 amp one. Apparently we need 100 amp ones in our cars. So it lasted about a year before it died. I guess it just died from being worked beyond its capacity for so long.
Anyway, now my check engine light is finally off and the car idles so smoothly now
If you get a new alternator make sure it is the right one!!! lol.
